After about a year of practice every day, he decided to start making some tapes to get his name out
there. He played several small underground parties throughout the Bay Area. He then hooked up w/
a crew called "Junglist Militia", who he was with for about a year, before he left the group and
decided to venture off solo. TiCAL has been seen at numerous underground events throughout the
Bay area and also other massives such as: Feelgoods: Mega Buzz, Camp Harmony, Caffeine, Flight,
Hyperstate, Funkadelic Love and many more. He has played w/ such other dj's and performers such
as: Jungle Brothers, Loxy of Renegade Hardware, Rinse & Flux, UFO!, Dieselboy, NMAN, Presha,
Golden Chyld & Cut So Qwik of the Finger Bangerz Crew, Megatron, Eternal, and many others.

TiCAL spins Hard/Teck-step/Running Jungle, as he mixes some scratching in from his
Turntablist/hip-hop background. Some of his Favorite Labels are: Renegade Hardware and Bad
Company. Some of his inspirations and favorite dj's are: UFO, as he inspires TiCAL every time w/
his track selection, and energy on the deck's. Dj Q-bert has also played a great roll in TiCAL's Dj'ing
career, as he has always fascinated him w/ his scratching techniques. TiCAL's energy when on the
decks can only be described as "OH MY GOD". He has such energy when spinning, everyone in
the room feels it and engages in a dancing frenzy.

TiCAL also spends countless hours in the studio, working on the next track in which he feels will
move the crowd the most. Some of his most recent tracks are: Distorted Thoughts & Terrorist
Attack. TiCAL does not only limit himself to Jungle/Drum & bass, he also has a love for old school
hip hop, and is working on a scratch/break record, due out next year sometime. This record will
have some of the "phatest" hip-hop beats produced by him, as well as different samples to scratch
with. Keep an eye out for some of his next releases, if you have seen him spin, or have heard any of
his mixes, you know his tracks are nothing but wicked.

TiCAL also has experience in throwing events as well as promoting them. In the year of 2000 alone,
he threw roughly 10-15 underground events, as well as some mass-produced events w/ various
production crews around the bay, and southern California. TiCAL also started a clothing
line/production company called: Jc Clothing (www.JcClothing.net), who provides a line of clothing
representing the world of underground electronic dance music, as well as put on events. With his
knowledge of the scene, and spinning abilities, he is capable of throwing events that will "pop off"
every time he is a part of one. He has plans for some big events coming up in the near future. With
his knowledge of music and the scene, look for TiCAL to take over the Bay Area, and soon the
country, w/ his wicked style of Jungle, and turntable capabilities.

TiCAL also always has some CRAZY idea that he will end up w/ DJ Rap!
